Common questions
Who is it for?
Teenagers, students heading to university, and adults who want protection against meningitis B. Usually two doses.
Could I get it free on the NHS?
The NHS gives the meningitis B vaccine to babies as part of the routine schedule. Older children and adults aren’t usually eligible, so it’s mostly a private vaccine at that age. Check NHS eligibility on nhs.uk →
Booking for a child?
Enter the child’s name and date of birth when you book. The pharmacist checks the vaccine is suitable for their age, and a parent or guardian needs to come with them.
Is there anything to pay online?
No — you pay in the pharmacy. The price shown is per dose.
