Common questions
How quickly does emergency contraception need to be taken?
Levonelle is most effective within 72 hours. ellaOne can be taken up to 120 hours (5 days) after unprotected sex, and is more effective later in the window. Walk in or call as soon as possible.
Can I get my contraceptive pill without seeing a GP?
Yes — our pharmacists can assess and prescribe the combined pill, mini pill, patch and ring. Repeat prescriptions are also available after a short review.
How does UTI treatment work?
Your pharmacist will ask about your symptoms using a validated clinical checklist. If it fits an uncomplicated UTI, antibiotics are prescribed and dispensed on the same visit.
What menopause support is available?
We offer a full menopause consultation covering your symptoms, lifestyle and HRT options. We can prescribe certain HRT products directly.
