What we do
Our pharmacist can confirm the diagnosis and prescribe antibiotic cream or tablets depending on severity. We'll also advise on hygiene steps to prevent spreading it to others at home.
When to seek other help
This service may not be suitable in the following situations — please seek the appropriate care instead:
- Under 1 year old
- Sores around or near the eyes
- Large or widespread area of affected skin
- Signs of systemic illness — high fever, feeling very unwell
- Immunocompromised patients — seek GP advice
